Dear friends, The COLDY team continues to keep you updated on the most relevant industry events. In our latest Real Estate Digest issue, we have summarized the most important industry highlights that took place in August 2022:

  • Experts are forecasting that the prices of residential real estate may rise by  up to 10% by the end of the year. This forecast was provided to Izvestia by developers and realtors. The market appears more optimistic than expected, and the demand balance between new developments and the secondary residential property market is being restored. For more information, please refer to “Real Estate Market News” section.
  • Reduced mortgage rates have revived the demand for new construction in Moscow. As of July, demand in the Russian capital’s primary market rose by 70% compared to May, according to Incom Real Estate Agency. Read more about this in RBC Real Estate publication.
  • Rosselkhozbank projects that, by 2030, about 30% of Russia’s new residential developments will be “green”. It will be driven, along with green mortgage preferential terms, by the establishment of a uniform national green development standard, Interfax Real Estate reports referring to the apartment buildings green construction national standard being prepared for approval. In his recent column in Vedomosti.Ecology, Maxim Kavarianz, COLDY’s Chief Commercial Officer, analyzed the document and provided a forecast on what the ESG agenda is to expect under the new economic conditions.
  • Moscow State Construction Supervision Committee(Mosgosstroynadzor) issued the authorization for the commissioning of Kazakov Grand Loft premium apartments, and we immediately started issuing the keys – six months ahead of the original deadline.
  •   In our recent Stroi.mos.ru publication, we featured the retail concept of N'ICE LOFT multipurpose complex. The complex’s 15-minute township concept will be supplemented with commercial real properties. As a result, its residents will not only have a sports infrastructure unprecedented in its scale available to them within walking distance, but also all social facilities and amenities to enjoy a comfortable life.
