Dear friends! Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed extending the preferential mortgage program at a rate of 6.5% until mid-2021.
“This program is popular and highly demanded. It really supports people. It should not stop functioning, let’s extend it at least until the middle of next year,” Putin said at a meeting with members of the government.
Analysts also pointed out that since the launch of the program, more than 220 thousand loans for 630 billion rubles have been issued. The program currently accounts for more than 90% of all loans for newly constructed housing projects.
