The innovative mixed-use residential cluster N'ICE LOFT won a prize in the category "Premieres of the Year" of the 13th Moscow Urban Awards 2021. This is the project's third award to date. Previously, N'ICE LOFT had been acclaimed as the "Best Sports Facility – Discovery of the Year" by the SportsFacilities award, sponsored by the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, and was also conferred the "Apartment Units No. 1" title by the prestigious Real Estate Market Records 2021 award.
The company managed to win a title of the Urban Awards, one of the most prestigious competitions for developers, by following a progressive trend of uniting apartment spaces and integrated sports infrastructure in one location, COLDY notes.
“We created the N'ICE LOFT project as a functionally integral location for future champions, a space where every detail opens the door to top-class sports. And a high grade bestowed by a third professional award makes us confident that we have managed to achieve excellent quality,” Maxim Kavaryants, Commercial Director of COLDY, says, commenting on the win.
The N'ICE LOFT mixed-use residential cluster is being built at the junction of the Tagansky and Nizhegorodsky Districts of Moscow, in close proximity to the Central Administrative District. With a total area of 121,000 square meters, the apartment spaces occupy seven buildings, from four to 21 floors, adjacent to an unprecedented sports infrastructure in terms of scale and quality.
The N'ICE SPORT health and fitness center is the first element of a huge sports infrastructure. It is designed according to the BREEAM green standard. On an area of over 14,000 square meters, facilities have been built for year-round sports activities, such as squash, choreography, hockey and figure skating; among others, two ice arenas have been designed within the perimeter of the health and fitness center.
Icemakers imported from Germany, modern surrounding boards and attention to multiple technical details have made the N'ICE LOFT ice arenas a convenient ground for professional training of the teams competing at the level of the Kontinental Hockey League.
“The N'ICE LOFT concept is based not only on the commercial efficiency of the project. We took an unconventional way in modern development, creating an infrastructure solution based on the needs of the district and, specifically, the local community. As a result, the project has been enriched with facilities with a high social component that meet the demands of potential buyers, local residents, and Moscow at large,” adds Maxim Kavaryants.
As a result, COLDY has managed to build a sports facility, which already attracts the attention of hockey stars and other athletes, as a permanent site for their own schools.
On the western side of the compound, there will be another element of the cluster, N'ICE PARK, a sports park with an area of 6,300 square meters. A multinational company, one of the leaders of the global sports industry, is involved in its development. This area will be open to the general public. Under the guidance of certified coaches, amateur athletes will be able to play football, skateboard, take functional training classes, or do some jogging.
It was the Apex bureau that designed the N'ICE LOFT architectural solution. The authors executed the exterior and interior models in the Neoloft style. The design concept of the cluster façade combines multiple facing materials and features dynamic lighting, which is emphasized by the different heights of the buildings.
