On May 8, a solemn flower laying ceremony took place at the memorial site dedicated to the memory of former Moscow Institute of Radio Communication workers who died during the Great Patriotic War. The Institute building is currently being renovated by the company Coldy that will create on its basis the most “radiant” loft apartment building in the capital: LOFT FM.

The solemn event was attended by the company’s senior executives and employees, who laid flowers at the memorial site to the sounds of a solemn mourning melody, in tribute to the heroes who fell on the fronts of World War II in 1941-1945.

The memory of those killed in the battles was honored with a minute of silence.

The commemorative meeting ended with the launch of orange and black air balloons, symbolizing the Victory.

“We remember our great-grandfathers’ glorious deeds of arms and honor their memory. In our country, the Day of the Great Victory is the most important and sacred among all festive days. LOFT FM complex continues the history of many of the institute workers who went to front as conscripts or volunteers during the war. In hard conditions of combats, they ensured the efficiency and reliability of communication systems, which are rightly called the nerves of war. Unfortunately, not all of these people returned. The memory of them, reflected in the commemorative tablet with the names of the fallen, will forever remain in our hearts. We would like our company and its employees to bring up their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, instilling in them the respect for the eternal memory of the heroes who won this war,” emphasized the company Coldy’s Head of Sales Elena Oreshkina in her speech.

Social responsibility of business is no empty boast for Coldy. Developing industrial urban spaces, the company takes care of convenience, safety and comfort, never neglecting indispensable educational and cultural aspects.

On May 5, Coldy restored and solemnly opened the memorial to the heroic defenders of the Motherland in the LOFTEC loft complex. The company is especially concerned with the preservation of the historical memory, and works with deep gratitude to preserve the memory of those who gave their lives for defending the freedom and independence of our country.
